We are already booked full for the following dates: April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 29.

BEFORE you fill out the form below, please read the relevant pages of this website, particularly the pages under What to Expect Here.  We want everyone who stays with us to know what to expect and to only come if they’re comfortable with the procedures we will follow.

Once you sign up, EMAIL US at sandiegopct@gmail.com to tell us you have signed up.  That way we know to check the spreadsheet and send you a confirmation that all is well.  It also allows us to easily capture your email for future communications.

For 2024 we will be hosting from March 29 to May 19.  If you need help outside those dates, see the info on our “Getting to the PCT” page.

We no longer provide transportation to the PCT. The PCT Southern Terminus Shuttle will pick up hikers at our home twice each day. Their 9:30 am shuttle will arrive here about 9:45; their 2:00 pm shuttle will arrive here about 2:15.

We are willing to accommodate 24 hikers per night, which means we will have to turn some hikers away.  We feel bad about this, but we can host only that number of hikers safely.  That is the reason for our policy of 1 night for U.S. hikers, and 2 nights for hikers from outside the U.S.

A note about permits: General permit information is on the PCTA website.  Anyone planning to hike more than 500 miles on the PCT should have a PCT Long-Distance Permit.  If you plan to use local permits instead of the long-distance permit, see Yogi’s information.  We expect each of the hikers we host to respect the permit system and start their hike on the date of their permit.
